There is not much better in this world than peanut butter and chocolate blended together. This smoothie tastes like the first bite of one of those chocolate peanut butter candy bites I savored as a kid after a long night of Halloween trick-or-treating. It’s just delicious!

Hi – I just bought your book and wanted to make this smoothie. I’m confused as to how there are 604 calories in one serving? Please explain.
The heavy cream and peanut butter get us to that number quickly. Great as a fat bomb if you need more calories in the day.
Can unsweet almond milk be substituted for the water in the smoothie recipes? Just curious. Or does this affect the carb count too much?
Yes you just add the number of carbs in your unsweetened almond milk to the total, the taste will be about the same 🙂
I’m not sure how you get 2 net carbs in this peanut butter smoothie when theres 6 net carbs in 2 tbsp of peanut butter??
I don’t see the 2g net carbs anywhere, it’s definitely the 6g net carbs listed. If you use a no sugar added brand like Teddie it’s only 4 net per two tablespoons. 🙂

Will it work if we try almond butter? Although I think it would taste totally different. But this sounds like a good recipe and I would want to try this out first with peanut butter. Hope to hear from you on my question about almond! Thanks in advance.
