Always looking for new things to blend with strawberries, I decided to go with sage, and it’s since become one of my favorite smoothie recipes. While some keto purists may snub their noses at berries, keto can be more satisfying in a dietary balance when you look at it as the process of staying in ketosis and not restricting everything and anything with carbs. Never in my keto life have I been kicked out of ketosis by a handful of berries. Enjoy this sweet, tart, and slightly savory strawberry sage cocktail without guilt, and see how much more your taste buds appreciate sweet strawberries now that you’ve removed most of the sugars from your diet.
