Tri-Tip Ginger Lime Steak Kebabs w/Mushrooms & Red Peppers

by Amanda C. Hughes

These steak kebabs are ideal for a cookout, but also make a fresh and flavorful dinner any time of the year.

Tri-tip is a great cut for steak kebabs as it can be as tender as ribeye, for the cost of sirloin (or less). Cut it into 2-inch cubes and dress it in this ginger-lime marinade. Once grilled they are super tender and packed with flavor.

What is Tri tip steak, I am in the UK and have never heard of that cut.

It’s the tip of the sirloin, triangular in shape. I usually need to ask the butcher at my grocery for it, or to point it out.
