Golden Sugar-Free Taco Seasoning Recipe with Turmeric

by Amanda C. Hughes

My sugar-free taco seasoning recipe came out of dire need to make tacos without all the fillers you get in those 99-cent packets. If you look closely, there can be up to 20g of carbs in some of them!

For this taco seasoning recipe, you can turn it into a real power-packed spice mix by using Himalayan salt instead of sea salt. It’s considered the purest in the world and includes minerals like sulfate, magnesium, calcium, and potassium. I use it whenever possible. Additionally, the turmeric adds a golden hue and warm, peppery notes to the blend – and is also considered an anti-inflammatory agent in Indian and Chinese medicine.
