Keto Cheeseburger Dip {Grain-Free Slow Cooker Recipe}

This Slow Cooker Keto Cheeseburger Dip tastes just like a hot gooey cheeseburger from your favorite burger joint. It’s a perfect meal or party snack and is marvelous on veggie sticks, flax crackers, pork rinds, and even pickles!

Keto Cheeseburger Dip Recipe

Servings: 12

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Cook Time: 3-4 hours  | Total Time: 4 hours

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs grass fed ground beef
  • 1 lb, chopped bacon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups, chopped onion
  • 8 oz, cubed cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 4 tbsp mustard
  • 1 cup chili-ready diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups, shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Garnishes:

  • sesame seeds
  • diced red onion
  • chopped chives

Steps:

  1. Preheat slow-cooker to low.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown ground beef. Add salt and mix.
  3. Strain excess fat and pour beef into the bottom of your slow-cooker. keto cheeseburger dip
  4. Using the same skillet, cook your bacon. Remove and reserve bacon fat in skillet.
  5. Pour bacon on top of ground beef in slow-cooker. keto cheeseburger dip
  6. In bacon grease, cook chopped onions. Using a slotted spoon remove onions and pour on top of bacon. keto cheeseburger dip
  7. Chop your 8oz of cream cheese into squares, then place on top of the beef, bacon, and onions in the slow cooker.             keto cheeseburger dip
  8. Top with chili-ready diced tomatoes. keto cheeseburger dip
  9. Add ketchup and mustard. Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Mix.  keto cheeseburger dip
  10. Sprinkle 2 cups cheddar cheese over the top Cook on low for at least 3 hours. keto cheeseburger dip

Lovely recipe. I adapted this to make a soup for those cold winter days. I didn’t use the ketchup. I added 2 cups of water to thin this to soup consistency and added some chopped garlic, because I love garlic. Great soup and thanks for the inspiration.

What size slow cooker do you recommend for this recipe?

We used this recipe for a small Superbowl party. There were 5 adults eating it (the kids might’ve liked it if we told them about it…) and we ate more than half of it even though we were also eating chili and chicken appetizers and guacamole. It was delicious to everyone and they were mostly the standard American diet kind of people.
