Low Carb Cheesecake Filled Strawberries

by Amanda C. Hughes

You’ve been seeing these little cheesecake filled strawberries around, I know you have. Even when I was eating sugar I saw them, but never got around to making them. But something occurred to me the other day after I finally looked up the recipe and saw that it’s basically just cream cheese and sugar.

You know I’m not into fake sugars, and cups of erythritol or mouth-numbing gobs of even Stevia, but I do have some Starbucks Sugar-Free Vanilla Syrup at the house. And I decided to use it. The recipe for cheesecake filled strawberries is super simple!

I think I will prebake a graham cracker crust & crumble it up really fine to dip them instead. So it still has the buttery salty taste 🙂

Will these “melt” if left out at a party?

Sally March 23, 2019 - 8:50 am

They haven’t for us, but they don’t last very long either. 🤗

Can you feel them in the refrigerator for awhile or freeze then or do you supposed to eat them right away?

Cassandra May 10, 2019 - 10:39 pm

*keep* them in the refrigerator oops 😬

You can definitely refrigerate them. I haven’t frozen them but they’ll keep great in the fridge.

Is the almond flour decorative? Would these work if I left that out?

Amanda C. Hughes August 1, 2019 - 3:35 pm

It’s mostly decorative, they still taste perfect without!
