This addictively delicious cheese dip recipe has been floating around my family parties for a while. My mom makes it pretty much every chance she gets, and it even has a backstory! Several ages ago, there was a restaurant in Fitchburg, Massachusetts called the Rendezvous. The food was good, but you basically went there for their cheese dip, which was served before each meal.
At some point, after they closed, someone tracked down the owner, or a chef, or somebody affiliated with the old restaurant in order to get the recipe for this cheese dip. I have no idea if this is the real recipe, or if we cooked it up to taste as close as possible, but here it is, keto-fied, and it’s dang good. In terms of products this is “junk food” but do the best you can. I included the brands I use also because they’re the lowest carb I can find.
I wanted to call this Horseradish Cheese Dip, but when I showed my mom the recipe she said nobody would eat it if I called it that. Pft! So she named it Scrumptious Cream Cheese Dip instead.

This looks SO good! But what is “pub cheese”?
I have to ask too… What is Pub Cheese??? This sounds amazing!!!
You can find it in the cheese section, it’s a spreadable cheddar-like cheese that’s labeled “pub cheese”.
What do you serve it with for low carb. Like chips for example
Sorry like in the picture, what sort of chips are these? Thanks so much
I had used a dehydrator to dehydrate some yellow squash.
No idea what pub cheese is, I’ve never heard of it.
It’s in most grocery stories, in the cheese section where you find different spreadable cheeses.
This recipe is fantastic! My favorite dippable is raw zucchini slices.
