Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1 cup unsweetened cashew milk
1/3 cup low carb chocolate whey protein powder
a handful of fresh spinach
1/8 tsp orange extract
at least 4 ice cubes If it's watery you may want to add more ice to help prevent separation.

This chocolate orange smoothie is just so darn good. It reminds me of those chocolate oranges you have to smack on the counter and they break into little chocolate slices. My mom used to put one in my stocking every year. I don’t delight in chocolate quite as much as I used to these days, but I’ll drink one of these for breakfast anytime. You can substitute the cashew milk for your favorite kind of unsweetened milk.

Don’t be alarmed—CALL OFF THE KETO POLICE—the orange is for decorative purposes only, because an itty bitty container of orange extract just isn’t as cute.
