I’m obsessed with the plum balsamic vinegar from Ariston Olive Oil. (No they didn’t pay me to say that). Paired with basil (or their basil oil!), it’s the most fantastic combo on the planet. Plum + basil = love, you guys. Sure, it has 11 grams of carbohydrates in a tablespoon, but all you need is a drop for these tiny sandwiches so even if you made twenty you wouldn’t reach a tablespoon. If you don’t have plum balsamic, you can certainly use regular balsamic.
Plum Basil Caprese Salad

- fresh mozzarella cheese
- fresh basil leaves
