If you know me, you know I’m a huge fan of Keto Bars. Not just because I love their products ( I really, really do), but I love the folks who make them. They’ve supported my site in a big way over the past year, so when they signed on to sponsor my site for February (consider that your disclosure) I was pumped!
Also, I was excited to try their brand new formula. They told me that 4 out of 5 existing customers loved the new formula. And I also loved the old formula, so I was eager to try out the new recipe. (TL;DR — the new recipe is great, and I’ll get into that next — also you can save 15% on $40 if you use the code “wickedstuffed”).
So physically, here is what changed about Keto Bars:
A small percentage of people thought the stevia taste was too strong, so they subbed in some erythritol to smooth out the sweetness. I think they did a nice job at the blending because you get zero of the “cooling” effect that some erythritol products have when there’s too much. They also removed the eggs, for those who are sensitive. The flavor is overall more chocolatey and has a pleasant, teeny tiny touch of salt.
I couldn’t be happier with the new Keto Bars recipe. They remind me of eating a Mounds bar. I finished the box I received in the mail within the first week. I went hiking a few times and brought one with me every time—sometimes in case I got hungry, or sometimes to eat before the hike.
My husband also begged me to split them with him, because he’s digging the new recipe, too. I split one with my mom, who’s also on keto, and she’s a convert (she also loves their Keto Shakes).
I think what you’ll find overall is that these bars taste more like a treat, or even (dare I say it) a DESSERT, but without the guilt because the ingredients are clean. I highly recommend them.
So good, I bought more immediately
And after my supply of Keto Bars was out, I stocked up on some more, and it arrived in record time — 3 days with a huge snow storm in the middle. I am headed out on a weeklong road trip and knew I’d need some keto support along the way. I also ordered their Vanilla Cinnamon Shakes because I know they’ll come in super handy while I’m working out of coffee shops along the way and want something hot and sweet to sip on that isn’t a jillion carbs.
Oh and in even better news, I was totally curious over the weekend if I could sub out some ingredients from my favorite scrambled pancake recipe and sub in a packet of the Keto Shake. And yes. Yes, I could. And yes it was delicious. If you’ve even considered ordering one of the shakes, I highly recommend the Vanilla Cinnamon.

So in closing, my opinion is that Keto Bars are delicious. I’ve gotten tons of comments on Instagram over the last few weeks from people are totally in love with the new recipe. So I’d say they’re a slam dunk!
