Garlic Shrimp

This Saturday Garlic Shrimp recipe fills the house with a heavenly garlic scent.



  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 20 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
  • pinch of sea salt
  • pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan


  1. In a large skillet, melt the ghee over medium-high heat. When it is hot, add the garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. The garlic should not brown.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes. Stir in the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Saute the shrimp until they are cooked through, about 5 minutes more.
  3. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and serve.


You can serve the shrimp on its own, or toss in two heaping cups of zucchini noodles for about one minute.
