Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Divan

You’ll see a lot of buffalo chicken recipes floating around for the ketogenic diet because the base ingredients are zero carb: hot sauce and butter! But you aren’t likely to find one like this, which spices up traditional chicken divan which traditionally uses canned soup, and instead transforms it into a creamier version using cream cheese. Rotisserie chicken is shredded for faster prep time, but you can also bake and shred two large chicken breasts.



  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika 
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 2 cups broccoli, chopped (bite size)
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, divided


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×9” baking dish.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat sauce, butter and spices until melted, then add chicken and cook until hot. 
  3. Add cubed cream cheese and mix until melted, then add blue cheese dressing and remove from heat. 
  4. Toss with broccoli and 1 cup of cheddar, and bake for 20 minutes. Add remaining cup of cheddar cheese to top, and bake another 10 minutes. Cool, and enjoy!
