Pastiche Fine Desserts Cafe Review, Providence RI

Screen shot 2012-06-13 at 8.55.25 PMPastiche in Providence is perfect all around, except maybe for the wait. I lived literally around the corner from it for a year, and I’ve never encountered a terrible wait, but it’s always pleasantly busy.

The waitresses will refill your free water glass as many times as you like, the Chai is awesome, and the desserts.. well that’s what you come for.


I especially love the Coconut Passion Cake (I think that’s it), but last time I was there it was “out of season”. I got that the first time I was there and have been unable to branch out ever since because it’s just so tasty.

Luckily I’ve been able to taste other people’s treats including the fruit tarts (awesome), the vanilla cake (also awesome), i think i tried an apple something or other which was delish.. some lemon thing, also good..

Honestly, you wont be disappointed, pick a desert you like and it will be the best version of it you’ve ever tasted.
