I’m starting to feel invincible when it comes to making zero-carb taco shells these days. Bacon taco shells? Done! Cheese taco shells? Ka-pow!

Today I made these 100% cheese taco shells. To make it fancy, they were actually 100% Muenster cheese, which I found deli-sliced at BJ’s.

What’s fun about these shells is that you can make them an actual shell.

….or you can make them kind of like a cone.
Doesn’t this look kind of like crab rangoon? Mmmmmmm…. I’ll try that next.

Steps

1
Done

Place the slides side by side (touching) on parchment/baking paper.

2
Done

Microwave for two minutes.

3
Done

Now you can either fold it and put it in the refrigerator, or crinkle it into a bowl by hand … and put it in the refrigerator.

4
Done

Wait two minutes and voila! A hard zero carb shell that you can fill with whatever you want.

5
Done

I filled mine today with pulled pork (0 carb) and a squirt of lime.
