White Manna Review, Hackensack NJ
A friend and I took a trip to New Jersey specifically for White Manna burgers after seeing an episode about it on the Food Network.
So let’s break it down. Getting a burger is a serious pain in the arse. You need to stand in a line, sometimes out the door to wait for people and their 15 burger orders, a lot of people try to get infront of you because someone yells “WHO’S NEXT” and then the quickest person to the punch starts yelling out their order.
Since there’s such a demand for burger, you need to order your burgers, french fries, and drinks all separately and with whoever happens to be taking the burger, fry or drink order at a particular time.
I got my drink first, and finished it before my fries were done. I was well done my fries and my second drink before I ever got my cheeseburgers.
With that said I got a bunch of cheeseburgers with the grilled onions. they were very tasty, the potato rolls were really good. However, anyone could totally make these at home and not drive to NJ for them. But it’s for the experience you know?
All the food is really cheap and the people who work there are very very very nice except for the lady slaying the burgers who is too busy slaying burgers to be nice.
I won’t lie though, two days after we got back, I was all, “mmmmm… I could go for some Manna burgers right about now!”
