Sal’s Place Review, Provincetown MA

Screen shot 2012-06-14 at 3.09.24 AMSal’s Place in Provincetown was a lifesaver after a terrible meal we had down the street. To redeem our night we decided to come here and get an appetizer and dessert and some drinks and we left wishing we’d eaten here to begin with.

First, there’s a public metered parking lot a couple blocks down so it’s easy to park and walk over.

Second, their Italian menu is huge and the dishes reign from all different parts of Italy. We tried the meatballs with raisins in them and they were awesome along with the super delicious and fresh sauce.

We also got a salad with house dressing. The salad was super fresh and the dressing was out of this world. Just a mix of vinegar, oil and herbs but it was perfect.

For drinks I got a Bellini (champagne and peach schnapps) and it was filled to the brim and super tasty. The boy got a glass of wine that was also filled to the brim (that never happens).

For dessert we got the chocolate cheesecake cannolli which completely hit the spot. It was rich, but not too rich. Very creamy and cheesy and the shell was crispy and not even a touch soggy.

I’d definitely come back here for dinner. Service was excellent and the menu was huge and had anything you could ask for when it comes to Italian dishes. Walking around the restaurant had us drooling over other peoples dishes.
