New England Soup Factory Review, Brookline MA
I LOOOOOOVE the New England Soup Factory in Brookline. Their chicken vegetable is so amazing on a cold day, or when you’re sick. When I lived in Boston, I had their soup at least once a week (no exaggeration, I lived nearby). And even now that I’m in Rhode Island, I think of it every time I’m sick or it’s a chilly winter day.
Also, once they had Cheddar Broccoli and it was like that episode of Family Guy where it took the role as “the soup that got away”. I was sick, so I got the chicken noodle, thinking I could come back another day and try the Cheddar Broccoli. Well, to this day I have never seen it again.. so sad.
Expect to spend about $10 for lunch like you would anywhere else in Boston, you’ll be full when you’re done and so, so satisfied.
This location is right at the Brookline Village T stop on the D (green) line. Window seats are good for watching the T in case you need to be somewhere soon. There are always newspapers strewn about by other patrons so you always have something to read.
One thing I’d change is to offer butter with their rolls. I know they’re for dipping, but damn dawg.
