Rock Inn Mountain Tavern Review, Estes Park CO
So happy to have driven by the Rock Inn Mountain Tavern in Estes Park just as our tummies were growling.
Oh wow, the garlic stuffed dates wrapped in bacon are a must-try! They’re amazing and I can’t wait to try making them at home.
For my meal I got the cowboy ribeye which was perfectly salted and seasoned. It was a little over-cooked for medium but not enough for me to be upset about it.
The sautéed green beans were also super delicious and perfectly cooked. I gobbled those up first actually.
The boy got the pan-seared trout with french fries and he was very happy with his meal. You’re really eating fish off of the skin and it’s pretty neat.
Ambiance was pretty great and at one point, all these folks with guitars, banjos and harmonicas started setting up and playing. It was awesome.
Overall we really loved this place and it was the best meal we had while in the Rockies.
